SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS  WINE GROWERS ASSOCIATION
PASSPORT DAY with MUNS VINEYARD

Saturday, April 20th |  12 - 4p

Come taste some excellent Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noirs from Muns Vineyard!

Winemakers, Ed and Mary Muns, will pour some of their newly released Santa Cruz Mountain estate wines: the 2017 Rosé of Pinot Noir, 2014 Estate Pinot Noir, and 2014 Estate Syrah. These are in addition to a vertical tasting of their delicious estate Pinot Noirs. Taste the alchemy of bottle aging in some of the library vintages and experience the difference a year in the vineyard can make.

At 2,600 feet on the Loma Prieta ridge top it is the highest Pinot Noir vineyard in the region and looks out over Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay. Muns Vineyard Pinot Noirs and Syrah are characterized by a distinctive flavor of (Burgundian) black cherry. Their balance and complexity contribute to their age worthiness.

Enjoy a beautiful day on our outside patio with great company, delicious wines, and live music by Charles Whyte from 1-4pm. We will be open for lunch for those who want to enjoy small pairings or lunch with their wine.

$15 tasting fee without Passport  |  No charge for Passport holders

Passports, $65, are available from the SCMWA here, and are good for one year at all participating locations. Ed and Mary had some available for guests to purchase that day.
